Gwen, labeled The Loner, was a camper and one of the finalists of Total Drama Island as a member of the Screaming Gophers. She returned as a cast member on Total Drama Action and was the captain of the Screaming Gaffers. She also returned for Total Drama World Tour and was a member of Team Amazon. She was seen with the original contestants on a yacht in the first episode of Total Drama: Revenge of the Island and had a cameo appearance in The Treasure Island of Dr. McLean. She was also a contestant on Total Drama All-Stars as a member of the Villainous Vultures.

In FusionFall, Gwen was worried about the Fusion Matter infection spreading to the wildlife of Townsville Park and went to go help out there to keep it safe. She also met Bubbles and gets along well with her. She observes the Park's Fusion monsters' behaviors and characteristics closely, reporting them to Dexter and other scientists. Grandpa Max and Rex help out with a lot of her missions involving the Park. Gwen helps out during the war, not only in the Park, but in many other places of the universe as well. Her weapon is a Golden Shovel (a reference to "The Chefshank Redemption," in which her team won a golden shovel to use in the challenge).
